Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Art Therapist
Hello my name is Tessa Henry, it’s nice to meet you! My pronouns are She/Her.
Welcome, thank you for visiting my page.
I believe that my role as a therapist is to support and validate the life events that you share with me. I aim to support and assist in finding resources to help you reach the goals that are set in session. My hope is that therapy sessions are a collaborative effort where client and therapist work together to establish realistic steps toward change. It is my belief that progress is not a linear process. I am here to help with the ups and downs of your personal journey. I am here to help you find resources that support your progress and goals. My therapies of choice are person-centered practices, art therapy, solution-focused brief therapies, and family systems theory, with elements of both cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies. I specialize in working with teens and emerging adults who are experiencing life transitions, grief and loss, relationships issues, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, and/or disabilities. I also enjoying working with parents experiencing communication difficulties with their children as well as the stress associated with having a child struggling with their own mental health concerns.
Outside of work, I enjoy being around dogs, any dog, making art, and going to concerts.
I look forward to being a part of your healing journey!
